From Boots To Business 

Hello! I'm Monique, founder & CEO of Just Be Hue Supplies.

I started my entrepreneurial journey in 2016, my junior year of college. At the time, my goal was to find a way to provide more positive and empowering images of the Black community. I wanted to do so as a way to counteract all of the negative stereotypes of us in the media. I chose to do so by providing melanin-themed school supplies. I believe it is extremely important for our youth to know that they have so many paths to be successful. Although the sports & entertainment industry are great choices, they must know that they can also be doctors, engineers, lawyers, veterinarians, business owners & so much more!

I joined the Louisiana Army National Guard during my senior year of high and upon graduating college, I was faced with the decision to either go full-time in the military or step out on faith and run my company full-time. Guess which one I chose? :) After eight years, I decided to hang up my combat boots. I'm now a full-time mom & entrepreneur and most importantly, I'm still serving my community!
